Welcome!

By the end of this masterclass, you’ll have a clear strategy for securing clients before the end of the year, using effective pitching methods.

Why This is Important: The final months of the year are a golden opportunity. Brands are planning last-minute holiday campaigns, wrapping up budgets, and preparing for 2025. This is great time to be getting stuck in on projects, and gearing yourself up for a really big 2025.

Pitching templates:

What to pitch:

1. Pitch for Holiday Campaigns and Content

Opportunity: Brands are finalising their holiday campaigns and may still need last-minute content for social media.

• Emphasise the quick turnaround time.

• Pitch ideas specific to their brand’s aesthetic or voice for the holidays.

• Show past examples of holiday work (if you have it) or create a mood board to illustrate your concept.

Example Pitch: “I’ve noticed your previous campaigns and would love to collaborate on something creative and impactful for this year. I have some fresh ideas that might be really interesting before the end of 2024.”

2. Revisit Past Clients or “Warm” Contacts

Opportunity: Clients you’ve worked with before, or brands that showed interest earlier in the year, might still have needs or leftover budgets.

Reach out to these contacts with a friendly, personalised follow-up. Offer specific ideas or a special year-end rate. Share the work you’ve been creating recently with a portfolio update. Say that you have availability for specific time frames.

• A simple check-in can re-ignite interest.

• Use the time-sensitive nature of the end of the year to encourage quick action.
